Case Study: Rob vine fund enhances fundraising with theolivepod donation technology
At theOlivepod, we are proud to support charities and organisations that make a real difference in their communities. We proudly welcome the Rob Vine Fund as one of our latest partners.
The Rob Vine Fund is a long-established Isle of Man charity. It provides life-saving medical and rescue equipment, training, and support for doctors, paramedics, marshals, and volunteers involved in motorsport events across the island. Since its establishment, the charity has played a vital role in improving pre-hospital emergency care and rescue services for some of the world’s most challenging road racing events.
To strengthen its fundraising efforts, the Rob Vine Fund has invested in three theOlivepod POD Pro donation kiosks. It has also introduced several handheld contactless card machines. Volunteers can use these devices to collect donations at events and throughout the community.
The combination of fixed donation kiosks and portable contactless devices gives the charity greater flexibility to collect donations wherever supporters are. Whether positioned at fundraising events, public venues, motorsport gatherings, or used by volunteers on the move, the new setup helps make donating quick, simple, and convenient.
As more supporters choose to pay by card and mobile wallet, charities need fundraising solutions that meet modern giving habits. By adopting contactless donation technology, the Rob Vine Fund is helping to ensure that supporters can contribute even when they are not carrying cash.
The Rob Vine Fund relies heavily on public donations. These donations fund vital medical equipment, rescue resources, and specialist training programmes. The resources support motorsport events throughout the Isle of Man. They also help the wider community during times of need.
We thank the Rob Vine Fund team for choosing theOlivepod. We also appreciate the incredible work they do behind the scenes. Their dedication helps keep competitors, volunteers, and spectators safe.
We look forward to supporting their fundraising journey for many years to come.
